In Russia, the next long weekend will last from June 12 to June 14 on the occasion of Russia Day. This was announced on May 12 by RANEPA expert Marina Solodovnikova.

"The next long weekend after the May holidays awaits Russians from June 12 to 14 in connection with the celebration of Russia Day," Solodovnikova said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

On May 12, Peter Petkilev, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure and Private International Law at the RUDN Law Institute, said that a short working week had started in Russia, which would last from May 12 to May 15. According to him, this year Victory Day fell on Saturday, so the holiday weekend was postponed to Monday, May 11.
