Russia has begun working on visa-free travel with Kuwait, Bahrain and Malaysia

Russia will begin working on the introduction of a visa-free regime with Kuwait, Bahrain and Malaysia. This was reported by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, recalling that on May 11, 2026, the agreement on the mutual abolition of visas with Saudi Arabia entered into force.

"From the point of view of the development of the tourism industry, the event is long-awaited. This is one of the key mechanisms that help increase the mutual tourist flow between our countries," said Nikita Kondratiev, Director of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation and Special Projects at the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.
