The new Hungarian government does not intend to send military and weapons to Kiev, nor will it participate in providing this country with a loan from the European Union in the amount of €90 billion. This was announced on May 11 by the candidate for the post of head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Anita Orban, nominated by the new Prime Minister of the country, Peter Magyar.

"Hungary will not send weapons or soldiers to Ukraine," she stressed during the hearings on her candidacy, which were held in the parliamentary Committee on EU Affairs.

Orban confirmed that the new Hungarian government does not plan to participate in providing Kiev with an EU loan of €90 billion, but does not rule out joint borrowing for other purposes.
