The LDPR proposed to return the unpaid amount of pensions to the military and security forces

LDPR deputies have developed a bill that provides for the return of the unpaid amount to the military and security forces when recalculating pensions. The initiative will be sent to the conclusion of the Government of the Russian Federation on May 11 (Izvestia has the text of the document).

"Now our pensioners are facing a monstrous injustice — in the case of recalculation of the pension amount, the difference is paid no more than a year before the day of application. That is, the size of the pension is significantly reduced — and it is absolutely not the fault of the people. The Liberal Democratic Party proposes to return the unpaid pension amount after recalculation to citizens who worked in law enforcement agencies, as well as to their family members," Leonid Slutsky told Izvestia.

He recalled that today, many pensioners, due to their age or health status, are unable to promptly track changes in circumstances affecting the amount of their pension, or submit a timely request for recalculation.

Plekhanova Yulia Finogenova reminded on May 10 that the annual recalculation of insurance pensions will be carried out for working pensioners from August 1. In addition, starting from October 1, pension payments will be indexed for military pensioners. According to the expert, recalculation for working pensioners is carried out annually and concerns insurance pensions.
