Canadian forward Mitch Marner of Vegas acted as an assistant three times in the last meeting and topped the list of top scorers of the current Stanley Cup draw. He now has 16 points, which allowed him to beat Kaprizov, who has 14 points.

Anaheim restored equality in the series to four wins — the score became 2:2. The fifth game of the confrontation will take place on the Vegas ice on the night of May 13, Moscow time. Following the results of the regular season, Vegas became the winner of the Pacific Division, and Anaheim, playing in the same division, took third place. In the first round, Vegas beat Utah, and Anaheim defeated Edmonton, both with a score of 4:2.

The winner of the last two Stanley Cup draws was Florida, which failed to make the playoffs this season.
