Russians were told the pensioner's salary needed for maximum PKI

The maximum number of individual pension capital (IPC) points that working pensioners can receive after recalculation on August 1 will be 3. This was announced on May 11 by the Professor of the Department of State and Municipal Finance of the Russian University of Economics. Plekhanova Julia Finogenova.

According to her, in order to receive these three points, insurance premiums must be transferred from a salary of at least 74,475 rubles.

The expert recalled in an interview with TASS that according to the IPK formula, it is necessary to multiply the monthly salary by 12, then allocate 30% of the resulting amount in order to calculate the amount of insurance premiums.

The next step is to allocate 53.4% of the individual part and divide it into the maximum contribution base, taking into account all adjustments, which is 477,235.8 rubles. The amount received must be multiplied by 10, which is equal to the maximum number of PKI points that can be obtained in a year.

This year, the cost of the IPC is 156.76 rubles, with three points and the minimum required salary, the pension amount will increase by 470.28 rubles.

Why is the average payout lower now and what could change the situation?

Finogenova announced earlier in the day that in June, pensioners who turned 80 in May, as well as citizens with an established first disability group, who became dependents or completed their work, would be able to receive increased pensions.

According to the expert, the fixed payment as part of the insurance pension will increase to 19,169.38 rubles for citizens who turned 80 in May or who were assigned a group I disability. A nursing allowance of 1,413.86 rubles is also provided for the disabled of the first group.
