The Russian ambassador announced the destruction of relations with Japan by the Tokyo authorities

The positive groundwork in Russian-Japanese relations, which had been building for decades, was almost completely destroyed by Tokyo's policy. This was announced on Monday, May 11, by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Japan, Nikolai Nozdryov.

"The positive groundwork accumulated over the past decades has been almost completely destroyed by official Tokyo, which joined the anti—Russian line of the collective West in the context of the Ukrainian crisis," the diplomat said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Nozdryov recalled that relations between Russia and Japan used to include many effective formats of interaction.
