Medinsky called history a weapon in response to the verdict in absentia of the court of Ukraine

History is a weapon, and in Ukraine they understand and are afraid of it. This was announced on May 10 by the assistant to the President of Russia, Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society (RVIO). Vladimir Medinsky in response to the verdict in absentia of a Ukrainian court for his work on the creation of a school textbook.

"So history is a weapon. And the Prosecutor's office of Ukraine <...> understands. And judging by the reaction, they are afraid," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
