The Ukrainian Armed Forces have committed over 16,000 ceasefire violations since the beginning of the truce.

Since the beginning of the declaration of the ceasefire on May 8, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have committed over 16 thousand violations. This was announced on May 10 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"In total, 16071 violations of the ceasefire regime were recorded in the special military operation zone. In these circumstances, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation mirrored the violations of the truce," the statement said.

Despite the truce, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out strikes using drones and artillery against positions of Russian troops, as well as civilian targets in Crimea, Belgorod, Kursk, Kaluga, Rostov Regions and Krasnodar Territory.

During the day, 676 attacks and 6331 drone strikes were recorded. Russian troops retaliated against firing positions, control points and UAV launch sites. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to hundreds of military personnel and pieces of equipment. 57 drones were shot down by air defense systems.
