On May 9, Russian airlines performed more than 300 flights at airports in Southern Russia. This was reported on May 9 in the press service of the Ministry of Transport.

"More than 300 flights have been performed by 19 domestic airlines to/from airports in Southern Russia since the beginning of the day, on May 9," the Telegram channel said.

The ministry clarified that over 43 thousand passengers were transported.

The press service of the department clarified on the same day that part of the international flights operated by Russian carriers had been resumed and were carried out through the south of Russia.

The suspension of the work of 13 airports located in the south of Russia became known on the morning of May 8. Experts have begun assessing the damage caused to the regional center of the Unified Air Traffic Management System (EU ATM).
