Thousands of residents of Narva, Estonia, on Saturday, May 9, watched fireworks on the occasion of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War (WWII) in Ivangorod on the other side of the river. The footage is published by Izvestia.

The audience of the fireworks on the Estonian coast took out lanterns to echo the festive illumination. In the footage, you can hear solemn music and famous military songs playing in the background.

Residents of Ivangorod and Narva, Estonia, waved to each other during a Victory Day concert on May 9. During the concert, the leading Guberniev asked the audience to greet the people on the opposite side of the river, after which the participants on both banks began waving to each other. The program of the event was designed so that it could be seen and heard on both shores — from the Russian and Estonian sides.
