The IRGC warned of retaliatory strikes against the United States when attacking Iranian tankers

The naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on May 10 that in the event of an attack on Iranian oil tankers and merchant ships, a retaliatory strike would be launched against US bases and ships.

"Any attack on Iranian oil tankers and merchant vessels will lead to a massive strike on one of the American bases in the region and enemy ships," the Tasnim news agency quoted the report as saying.
