Putin: A multipolar world should be based on the norms of the UN Charter

The principles of the emerging multipolar architecture should be based on the norms of the Charter of the United Nations (UN) and the concept of indivisible security, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Saturday, May 9.

"I am convinced that a more just, multipolar architecture that is being formed today should be based on the norms of the Charter of the United Nations in their entirety and proceed from the principle of equal and indivisible security," the Russian leader said.

According to the head of state, in the process of world order, it is also necessary to take into account the cultural and civilizational diversity of all the peoples of the planet.
