The Supreme leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, who was injured during the strikes by the United States and Israel, has recovered, the head of the protocol service of the office of the Supreme leader, Mazaher Hosseini, said on May 9.

He noted that Khamenei's injuries were caused by the fact that he was hit by an explosive wave and fell.

"As a result, he suffered a minor injury to his knee and back. The back injury has healed over time, the knee will heal soon, he is in perfect health," the Fars news agency quoted him as saying.
