The Russian Federation was preparing lists of prisoners of war for exchange even before the announcement of the truce, handed them over to Ukraine, but there was no reaction from Kiev, Ushakov said.

He clarified that a 1,000-to-1,000 prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine could take place fairly quickly if the lists were agreed upon. According to the presidential aide, today the departments of the Russian Federation and Ukraine should work out lists for the exchange of prisoners of war within the framework of the truce.
