Participants of the special military operation laid flowers at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden in Moscow.
After the Victory Day parade on Red Square, Russian President Vladimir Putin and foreign leaders who arrived in Moscow headed to the Alexander Garden, where they also laid flowers at the memorial. Then Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov laid flowers at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier.
At the end of the ceremony, all participants listened to the anthem of the Russian Federation performed by representatives of the military orchestra.
The parade dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the Victory ended with an aerial part on Red Square to the song "Farewell of the Slavs". Among his guests were veterans, with whom Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke, as well as foreign leaders. After that, they laid flowers at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier and listened to the anthem of the Russian Federation, performed by a military orchestra.
The event itself involved foot crews of military personnel from military educational institutions, participants in a special military operation (SVO). The Russian leader, addressing the audience, said that the victory of the Russian Federation has always been and will be for its people.
