The girl who conquered social networks with Kalinka sang "Dark Night" in Arabic

The girl Emilia, who won the hearts of people on social networks by performing "Kalinka" on the Arabic show "The Voice. Children", she sang "Dark Night" especially for Izvestia on May 9.

Young Emilia performs the popularly loved "Dark Night" almost a capella — she is accompanied only by a boy on an ethnic drum. In the video, the girl is dressed in a traditional costume with an Afghan and a caftan decorated with coins, and the boy has a kaffiya on his head. The choice of costumes refers to Emilia's multicultural background: the girl knows Russian thanks to her mother, and the young singer's dad is Jordanian.

"Kalinka" performed by nine-year-old Emilia on the Arabic show "The Voice. Children" has conquered social networks. The original video on social networks with the girl's performance has collected more than 31 million views. Now Arab fans are making videos en masse to "Kalinka", singing a melody that has long been known in Russia.
