Since 2022, Australia has spent about $1.2 billion to support Ukraine. This was announced on May 9 by Russian Ambassador to Australia Mikhail Petrakov.

"Since 2022, Australia has been an active sponsor of the Kiev regime. At the moment, the total amount of its so–called "support" is more than $1.7 billion Australian dollars, which at the current exchange rate is about $ 1.2 billion," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to Petrakov, Australia supports Ukraine not only financially, but also by supplying armored vehicles, sending E-7A Wedgetail reconnaissance aircraft to Europe and participating in the training of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). in the UK, under the Kudu program.

Finnish politician Armando Mema, a member of the Freedom Alliance party, said on May 6 that the European Union (EU) is directly financing state terrorism against the civilian population of Russia by supplying Ukraine with medium- and long-range drones (UAVs). According to him, the number of drone attacks on Russian territory has increased over the past two weeks due to increased supplies from European countries. Mema noted that Europe has increased production of medium- and long-range missiles for transfer to Kiev, and the UK supplies the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with more than 120,000 drones.

Russian Ambassador to North Macedonia Dmitry Zykov said on May 2 that the republic's authorities were providing military and technical assistance to Ukraine. According to him, this position of Skopje is conditioned by the Euro-Atlantic course, which is declared at various levels.
