Almost 17 million rubles will be allocated for the repair of the dam on the Zastepinsky stream in Chita

Chita received a subsidy for the repair of hydraulic structures of the reservoir on the Zastepinsky creek. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Trans-Baikal Territory has approved the allocation of funds at the request of the city administration.

According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, the contract for the repair of facilities has already been concluded. The contractor will be Vector LLC.

The company will receive 16.8 million rubles for its work. Specialists will have to restore the catchment area and fill out the dam.

According to ChitaMedia news agency, it is planned to complete the work by the end of October 2027.

In mid-April, it was reported that construction of a new dam had begun in Primorsky Krai, designed to protect two villages from flooding. The length of the new facility will be 8 km.
