Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said he would convey to Russian President Vladimir Putin a message from the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky. This was announced on May 8 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

Fico arrived in Moscow on the same day to celebrate the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). During this visit, he also plans to meet with the Russian president.
