According to the results of the Russian Lotto series, more than 20 million rubles will be allocated to help WWII veterans.

Following the results of a series of charity editions of the Russian Lotto, which were timed to coincide with the 81st anniversary of the Victory, more than 20 million rubles will be allocated to help war veterans. This was reported in the Stoloto press service.

The funds will be transferred to the Memory of Generations Foundation, which will provide support to medical and social institutions in Saratov, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Astrakhan, Sochi and Tyumen. Veterans live or receive medical treatment in them. The funds will also be used for targeted assistance to veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

"The Memory of Generations Foundation will be able to purchase equipment for six social and medical institutions in different regions of the country that will significantly improve the quality of life of the wards, as well as provide dozens of veterans with targeted assistance: they will be provided with prostheses, hearing aids, rehabilitation equipment and many others," said the deputy general director of the multidisciplinary holding S8 Capital (in which includes "Stoloto") Ekaterina Tuton.

The amount of more than 20 million rubles was generated through four charity lottery draws, fundraising on the fundraising platform "Together for Others" and donations from Stoloto employees.

"Due to their age and state of health, veterans of the Great Patriotic War need special attention and care, so there is always a need for funds to pay for nurses, purchase rehabilitation and other equipment, and comprehensive treatment that prolongs the lives of our heroes. The funds raised as part of the charity circulations will allow us to do a large amount of charitable work," said Larisa Gurova, Head of the Department for Work with Partners at the Memory of Generations Foundation.

Charity circulations to help veterans were held for the second time this year. In 2025, the first such drawing was held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory Day. As a result, more than 15 million rubles were transferred to the Memory of Generations Foundation.
