The XX military historical festival "Fire Arc" was held in Stupino

The XX military historical festival "Fire Arc", dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War, was held in Stupino on an open area near the Holy Trinity Belopesotsky Monastery. This was announced on May 8 by the head of the city district, secretary of the local branch of United Russia, Sergei Muzhalskikh.

The event brought together about 200 reenactors who presented 15 pieces of historical equipment. The organizers were the district administration, the public organization "VIMK Pobeda", the local branch of the United Russia party and military historical clubs.

"The main purpose of the event is to demonstrate to the residents, and first of all to the younger generation, the true events of the war years, the hardships and heroism of those who fought for their Homeland. It is our duty to pass on this memory from generation to generation. This is the 20th time that the festival has been held in the district. Stupino was awarded the title of "City of Labor Valor," said Muzhalskikh.

Igor Guzhevsky, a representative of the organizers, said that the festival is already bringing real results: parents come with their children, and he personally sees those who, after such events, entered military schools, serve and work at the police school.

"Reenactors come from all over Russia, and they used to come from abroad. The memory lives on, and we try to maintain the holy memory so that our victory will be again, and we will overcome all the enemies," said Guzhevsky.

Elena Surikova, a representative of the organizers, added that the festival is not only a cultural event, but also an educational project aimed at preserving historical truth and fostering respect for the country's history among young people.

The festival program combined entertainment and educational formats: performances by soloists and creative teams, military-historical reconstruction of an episode of military operations using authentic uniforms and weapons. After the reconstruction of the battle, those who wished could take pictures with the reenactors and study historical equipment. There was also a field kitchen, food outlets and a food court on site.
