A new regulation has been approved in Moscow as part of the standard of courier services. It ensures that, thanks to the mandatory introduction of telematics IoT modules, the maximum speed of SIM, bicycles and mopeds is 25 km/h, and it will now become technically impossible to ignore the "slow zone". This was announced on May 8 in the Maks messenger by the Moscow Department of Transport.

The main change in the new regulations was the transition to an addressable model. Now, a single digital system receives data not only on the activities of companies, but also on the work of each deliveryman.

So, now couriers must independently undergo personal registration, before they were registered in the system by the delivery company. Previously, there were no clear requirements for opening a shift. Now, before starting work, the courier must undergo a mandatory photo check by photographing his face, appearance (uniform), bag and vehicle.

In addition, previously the company itself transmitted information about the termination of the delivery service, now the status model of accounts is working: the courier ID can be temporarily blocked or deleted. This may happen if the courier has not read the rules of the regulations; if the work rules are violated; and if there has been no activity in the system for more than six months.

Earlier, on April 21, it was reported that the number of data center cameras recording violations of users of personal mobility equipment (SIM) in Moscow increased to 375 units. They identify those who ride together on the same scooter, exceed the speed limit, do not dismount at pedestrian crossings, ride along the bike lane in the opposite direction and do not use the bike lane if available.
