Lawyer Alexander Karabanov, accused of fraud on a particularly large scale, pleaded guilty. This was announced on May 8 by a representative of the suspect's defense.

"Karabanov pleaded guilty to the crime charged against him under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud on an especially large scale")," the source told TASS.
