Iran has denied Trump's statement about the export of 400 kg of uranium from the country.

On May 7, Behnam Saidi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic, denied a statement by US President Donald Trump about the export of uranium from the country.

"Trump's statement on the withdrawal of 400 kg of uranium from Iran is a 'political bluff and a pure lie,'" the ISNA news agency quoted him as saying on the Telegram channel.

Saidi added that issues such as the right to enrich oneself, the complete lifting of sanctions and the release of the country's property are not subject to discussion.

Negotiations are going hard, but a breakthrough in certain areas is possible.

On May 6, Trump told reporters that the Iranian side had allegedly agreed to give up nuclear weapons. In addition, he added that over the past 24 hours, the United States has held very good talks with Iran. The president clarified that he was not setting a deadline for negotiations with Iran.

Later in the day, the head of the White House confirmed his intention to ease sanctions against Iran if it agrees to the conditions put forward to it. He stated that the text sent to Tehran did not specify permission for him to enrich uranium at the level of 3.67%, and there were no clauses on the use of his underground facilities.
