Real Madrid have opened disciplinary proceedings against Valverde and Tchuameni after the brawl.

Real Madrid football club has launched a disciplinary case against players Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchuameni after their fight in the locker room. This was announced on May 7 on the website of the team's press service.

"Following the incidents that occurred this morning during the training of the main team, it was decided to initiate disciplinary proceedings against our players Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchuameni," the publication says.

It is specified that the club reported the results of the proceedings after conducting the relevant internal procedures.

The newspaper Diario AS reported on the same day that Valverde had a fight with Tchuameni, as a result of which he lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital. According to the newspaper, the players quarreled on May 6. The next day, Valverde did not shake Tchuameni's hand, arguing that he had told the media about the conflict. In the locker room, Tchuameni punched Valverde in the head.
