A high fire hazard class was predicted in Primorye

From May 7 to May 11, a high fire hazard class was predicted in Primorsky Krai. Locals and tourists are asked to take precautions when visiting natural areas.

The fourth class of fire danger will remain in Khasansky, Lesozavodsky and Kavalerovsky districts. This is reported by PrimaMedia news agency with reference to information from the regional government.

Citizens are asked not to build bonfires, not to leave cigarette butts and matches, and not to burn dry vegetation.

More than 500 wildfires have been extinguished in the Khabarovsk Territory since the beginning of the fire season. None of them posed a threat to human settlements.
