VTB has financed the first CRT project in the Samara region
VTB has opened a credit line in the amount of 2.6 billion rubles to the VIRA development company for the construction of the Matrix residential quarter in Samara. The project will be the first in the Samara Region to be implemented under the integrated Territorial development mechanism. The construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2030.
As part of the project, eight comfort-class residential buildings with variable number of floors from 9 to 19 will be built. The total area of the new construction will be 80 thousand square meters of housing. The concept of the quarter provides for the creation of a modern urban environment based on the principle of a "courtyard without cars". The project also provides for the construction of a school for elementary grades with 300 places, a kindergarten for 155 pupils and a polyclinic.
Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, Governor of the Samara Region, stressed that the launch of the first CRT project is the result of systematic work to reset urban planning policy. "We are changing approaches so that residents receive not just new apartments, but full-fledged neighborhoods with kindergartens, schools and clinics in place of dilapidated and often already emergency funds. The Matrix is a new standard for the quality of the urban environment, and we will replicate this experience," said the head of the region.
Denis Bortnikov, Deputy President and Chairman of the VTB Management Board, called the CRT mechanism an important tool for urban renovation. "It is important that such initiatives receive access to funding and support from regional authorities," he said. Bortnikov recalled that VTB has been cooperating with VIRA Recreation Center for more than 10 years, having implemented several landmark projects. He expressed confidence that the new quarter will be an example of effective implementation of the CT program.
The VIRA Recreation Center called the new residential complex the answer "to the citizens' request for a harmonious and functional environment." "Thanks to VTB's support, we will be able to implement not only the construction of modern housing, but also important social facilities," said Ramil Khaliullov, head of the company.
