Brazilian singer Izak Bruno Coni Silva, known under the pseudonym Zau O Pássaro, died on May 4 as a result of a collision between his car and a truck. This was reported by the Need To Know portal.

On the eve of his death, on Sunday, May 3, the 27-year-old artist held a large-scale concert in the city of Barreiras (Bahia). The performance was sold out, and some fans were unable to attend the show due to lack of seats.

After completing the program, Silva went home to the city of Laura de Freitas. The musician was driving an SUV accompanied by three colleagues. Silva's car crashed into a freight transport on the highway. Rescuers who arrived at the scene had to cut open the body of the SUV to get people out of the wreckage.

Doctors provided first aid to the singer on the spot, but he could not be saved. The performer is survived by his wife and two daughters. Three of Silva's colleagues, who were in the same car, were hospitalized with serious injuries.

The musician specialized in the pagoda genre, which in Brazil is called "yard samba". This style of music differs from the classical carnival samba with ironic lyrics using slang and is focused on creating an atmosphere of a closed friendly party.
