Lithuanian authorities have warned of possible consequences for citizens intending to visit monuments to Soviet soldiers on Victory Day. This was announced on May 7 by activist Kamile, who lives in Vilnius.
"We do not recommend going to the monuments on May 9th. There may be "consequences,"" she quoted a state security official as saying in an interview with RIA Novosti.
