The militants of the unmanned systems unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) boast of attacks on civilian targets in the Kursk region. This was reported on May 6 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

We are talking about the 419th separate battalion of the Varta unmanned systems, which operates in the Sumy area, RIA Novosti reports.

The agency's interlocutor said that representatives of the unit openly brag about attacking civilian infrastructure and the population of the Kursk region in order to demoralize.

Russian fighters explained how they use drones and small groups to storm concrete shelters.

The day before, the governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinstein, reported that two civilians were injured as a result of an attack by an APU drone at a gas station in Lgov. According to him, a 30-year-old man suffered a mine explosion injury, wounds to his arms, legs and a closed craniocerebral injury. The fire department chief was also injured — a 44-year-old resident was found to have shrapnel wounds to his legs.
