The fire occurred in the administration building of Energodar after the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

In Energodar, after a targeted attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), a fire broke out in the city administration building. The fire was quickly localized. This was announced on May 6 by the mayor Maxim Pukhov.

"The administration building has become a special target of the enemy in recent days — the strikes are being carried out purposefully and systematically. Today (May 6 — Ed.), after one of the attacks, a room on the eighth floor caught fire," Pukhov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Pukhov urged the townspeople to remain calm and self-contained, not to succumb to provocations. According to him, all services are working in an enhanced mode, the situation is under control.

A new rotation of IAEA experts is also planned.

Pukhov noted on May 5 that Energodar was attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and several hits were recorded in the administration building. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties during the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The mayor urged residents not to go outside and stay in shelters.
