Part of the roof of one of the educational institutions in Yekaterinburg collapsed on an area of 400 square meters. m. On May 6, the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Sverdlovsk region reported.

"The roof of the gym collapsed on an area of 400 square meters," the statement said.

Five pieces of equipment and 15 personnel were sent to the scene of the incident.

The Ministry of Education of the Sverdlovsk Region added that there were no casualties as a result of the incident, as all classes had already ended at the time of the collapse.

On April 1, the Governor of the Sakhalin Region, Valery Limarenko, also reported on the collapse of part of the kindergarten school wall in the village of Kirovskoye in the Tymovsky district. According to him, the facility required major repairs, as significant defects had already been identified there. As a result of the incident, no one was injured, and the students of the institution were transferred to distance learning.
