A court in Moscow has banned the YAplakal humorous website
The Chertanovsky court of Moscow, at the request of the prosecutor's office, declared it prohibited and prohibited the dissemination of information on the entertainment resource "YAplakal". This is evidenced by the case materials, which were reviewed by Izvestia on May 6.
"It has been established that the following sites are in the public domain: https://yaplakal.com , https://anekdotovstreet.com , https://anekdoto.net . The pages of these Internet resources contain materials (humorous content in text format) containing statements that can be qualified as degrading human dignity, as well as aimed at discrimination and insulting persons on the grounds of nationality and race," the resolution says.
It clarifies that according to the law, it is prohibited to disseminate information that is aimed at propaganda of war, incitement of national, racial or religious hatred and hostility, as well as other information for the dissemination of which criminal or administrative liability is provided.
Also on May 4, the Perovsky Court of Moscow, at the request of the prosecutor's office, blocked the resources on which equipment for bypassing the Platon system was sold. It was clarified that the use of such equipment violates Article 12.21.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Non-compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation on payment of compensation for damage caused to public roads of federal significance by vehicles with a permitted maximum mass of over 12 tons").
