Kaiyi brand will transfer service obligations in Russia to Jetour distributor

All functions related to the after-sales service and repair of Kaiyi cars in Russia, which were implemented through the Kai Rus dealer network, are transferred to Votur Motor Rus LLC. The Chinese brand's press service announced this on its website on May 6.

Service obligations are transferred to Votur Motor Rus starting from May 1. This company is the distributor of the Jetour brand in Russia. Representatives of Kaiyi stated that Kai Rus continues to fulfill its warranty obligations.: Maintenance and repairs will be carried out in accordance with the current warranty policy by the brand's dealerships.

"Kaiyi dealerships are in the process of renegotiating service agreements with Votur Motor Rus LLC and continue to provide warranty and service support, as well as supply spare parts to customers," the statement said.

As Sergey Tselikov, director of Autostat, told on March 27, sales of Kaiyi cars, which were assembled at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad, practically came to naught. So, in January-February of this year, 37 Kaiyi cars were sold, which is 94% less than a year ago. The assembly and sales of Kaiyi cars started in early 2023. Since then, almost 22 thousand cars of the brand have been sold in Russia.
