Moscow's young parliamentarians will hold a series of events by May 9th.

From May 7 to 11, Moscow Youth Chambers will hold a series of events dedicated to Victory Day. Among them are memorial and patronage events, concerts, a theater evening, a film screening and a master class.

"Every year, the youth chambers prepare a patriotic program for May 9th. This time it will cover all the administrative districts of the capital and will once again unite residents of different generations," said Marina Prozorova, Deputy Head of the Department of Territorial Executive Authorities of Moscow.

On May 7, a screening of the military documentary film "Surrounded" will take place in the Dmitrovsky district. The session will begin at 18:00 in the city hall at 11 Klyazminskaya Street, building 3. The picture tells about the fate of the crew of a Soviet tank, which in June 1944 found itself behind enemy lines during the liquidation of the Vitebsk group of Nazi Germany.

Creative evenings "Wars of Sacred Pages" are planned in Marfino on May 7 and 8. They are organized in the Moscow Longevity Center (29A Botany Street, building 3). It starts at 17:00. A theatrical performance awaits the guests: together with the main characters, they will walk the path from the first days of the Great Patriotic War to the victorious May 1945. Famous poems and songs from the war years will be performed.

On May 8, at 16:00, the Victory Workshop will be opened in Perovsky Park, which will be located at 7 Lazo Street. In it, children will be taught how to make carnations out of colored paper with their own hands. Crafts can be taken home or presented to veterans and loved ones on the eve of May 9th.

On May 7, at 14:00, residents of the Academic District are invited to lay flowers at the monument to the workers of the Cheryomushkinsky Brick Factory at 17 Novocheremushkinskaya Street.

On May 8, several memorial and patronage actions will be held. At 10:00 in Novo-Peredelkin — at the monument to the soldiers who fell during the Great Patriotic War at the address (9th Chobotovskaya Alley, 19), at 12:00 in Filevsky Park - at the stele of the workers of the Khrunichev State Space Research and Production Center who died during the Great Patriotic War (27 Novozavodskaya Street, building 1). Representatives of the district Council of veterans of the district, the city council, as well as municipal deputies will also speak here. At 13:00, a commemorative event will begin in Mozhaisk district at the mass grave of soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War and died in Moscow hospitals (20 Ryabinovaya Street).

On May 9, at 13:00, residents of Solntsevo in Tsentralny Park (Promyshlennaya Street) will lay flowers at the monument to the soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War. At 16:00, a concert program awaits guests at the Maly Solntsevsky Pond.

On May 11, at 16:00, a concert will start in the Levoberezhny district in the fountain square opposite the Znamenskaya Church (4 Festivalnaya Street). Young talents will perform on it with dance and vocal performances.
