The Liberal Democratic Party has developed a bill on a monthly supplement to the old-age insurance pension in the amount of 50% of the fixed portion for pensioners who have raised three children. The deputies of the party, led by its leader Leonid Slutsky, made such an initiative on May 6.

"Citizens who have raised three or more children, as a rule, have less work experience. Regular breaks from work or part-time work, alas, had a painful effect on the amount of their pension. The LDPR initiative is designed to correct this injustice," Slutsky said in an interview with TASS.

It is noted that the party proposes to establish an additional payment in the amount of half of the fixed insurance pension, which will amount to 4,792 rubles, with monthly accrual and subsequent indexation. The Liberal Democratic Party proposes to take into account all legal representatives, including parents, foster parents, grandparents, who raised from three children to the age of majority.

With the proposed bill, the authors propose to increase the incomes of pensioners with many children and to encourage Russians to have several children. If adopted, the bill will enter into force on January 1, 2027.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Ministry of Transport took the initiative to provide free parking for two cars for large families. It is noted that currently the right to free parking is provided for one car in a large family, however, it is planned to make changes to the guidelines for parking space management in Russian cities by June 30 of this year.
