Alikhanov: the Russian aviation industry has replaced its aircraft imports in less than five years

In less than five years, the Russian aviation industry has been able to completely replace aircraft avionics with imports. This was announced on May 5 by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov.
"What our aviation industry has done is truly unique. We completely replaced the board in less than five years," he told RIA Novosti.
The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade noted that in world practice, the creation of an aircraft takes much longer. Even with ready-made technological solutions, including in the engine industry, it may take up to 10 years to develop an aircraft.
