It became known about the detention of the ex-mayor of Petrozavodsk in the case of tax evasion

Galina Shirshina, the former head of Petrozavodsk, who now works as a human resources manager at a Karelian company, was detained along with the director and lawyer of the firm on suspicion of tax evasion on a particularly large scale. This was reported on May 5 by law enforcement agencies.

"Three defendants in a criminal case on tax evasion on a particularly large scale have been detained. We are talking about the ex-mayor of Petrozavodsk, HR manager of the Olonia company Galina Shirshina, director of the company Olga Razdrogina and lawyer of the company Natalia Grigoryan," a law enforcement source told TASS.
