Construction of a new bridge over the Tura River in Tyumen is planned to begin in 2028.

Preparations for the construction of a new automobile bridge across the Tura River are continuing in Tyumen. Work may begin as early as 2028, told the news agency "Hurrah.<url>" in the city administration.

Specialists are currently developing the technical part of the project documentation. It includes not only the bridge over the Tura, but also an overpass through Shcherbakov and 2nd Lugovaya Streets to Kommunisticheskaya.

"Construction and installation work on the specified facility will be planned for the long—term period 2028-2032, based on the conditions of financing the road infrastructure," the mayor's office explained.

A new bridge will connect Zareka with the dock. According to the news agency, four new crossings over the Tura River are planned to be built in Tyumen. Three of them will be by car and one by bicycle.

At the end of April, it was reported that the Tyumen authorities decided to clean up the Tura River from garbage in the city. Now the administration is looking for a company that will prepare a corresponding project, it should be ready by autumn.
