The Znanie marathon has ended in Moscow.First

On April 30, the Znanie educational marathon ended in Moscow, at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall.The first, dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. In three days, 147 outstanding lecturers spoke in all federal districts. Heroes of the Russian Federation, scientists, athletes, statesmen, and journalists have shown young people through their own experiences and projects that the strength of our country lies in its diversity and cohesion. About 17,000 participants from Russia and neighboring countries joined the Znanie Society marathon in person, and more than 37 million watched online broadcasts. The event was held within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children".

One of the main guests at the marathon is Knowledge.Russian President Vladimir Putin became the first on the Day of the Indigenous Peoples of Russia, which is celebrated for the first time on April 30. The Head of State personally talked with representatives of small indigenous peoples and noted that both small ethnic groups and large nations should feel that Russia is a common home. Only in this case we will feel stable, stable, and we will move forward. The President emphasized that Russia's versatility and strength lie in its diversity.

The marathon's lecturers were representatives of different peoples of Russia with rich life and professional experience — those who protect, develop and glorify our country. Government and public figures, heads of state corporations and award-winning athletes, masters of culture and art, scientists and teachers, military officers and veterans of their military performed at venues in 10 cities: Moscow, Astrakhan, Barnaul, Makhachkala, Naryan-Mar, Nizhny Novgorod, Novy Urengoy, Tver, Yakutsk and Donetsk.

"I am convinced that the guys left with a desire to learn more about the peoples of our great country, about different regions, and, most importantly, with a desire to help each other, support their people, and create something together. Lecturers give such an impetus because they share not only unique knowledge, but also their own experience of choosing a path and overcoming difficulties. And the guys, looking at the outstanding people, understand that if those ahead of them have succeeded, then they will succeed. The meetings with the heroes of Russia, the participants of the SVR, became especially inspiring at this marathon, because the personal experience of heroes who defend one Homeland shoulder to shoulder is the clearest example of courage, unity, and patriotism," said Maxim Dreval, General Director of the Znanie Society.

As shown by the results of the survey of participants of the marathon Knowledge.First, 94% of them agree that the strength of our people lies in unity, thanks to which the country can withstand any external threats. The majority of children — 74% — are proud of Russia, more than half of the respondents — a sense of unity with their people, as well as respect for the country's past and its history.

The program includes not only lectures and open dialogues. On the main site of the marathon Znanie.The interactive educational and entertainment space of the event's partners was the first in Moscow, in the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege". Contests, master classes, games, psychological intensive courses and other events helped young people deepen their knowledge of what unites the peoples of Russia.

In partnership with the Historical Park "Russia - My History", the Znanie Society has prepared the Znanie exhibition.Heroes about the feat of our people during a special military operation. The Znanie Society, the Historical Park Russia - My History and the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences also presented the exhibition "Indigenous Peoples of Russia", dedicated to 47 ethnic groups living in our country.

The Knowledge aroused great interest among the guys.The library - at the marathon in honor of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of our country, it is designed as a Literary map of Russia. This is a collection of books in Russian, created by representatives of peoples from all 89 regions of the country. In three days, more than 2.5 thousand children visited here, who could not only read, but also take their favorite books with them, a total of 7,000 books were distributed.

Also, according to tradition, a Russian Post box was installed in the partner town, and in three days the guys sent more than 400 postcards dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia to their relatives, friends, and acquaintances.

On the eve of the marathon of Knowledge.The first educational organization launched a thematic campaign. Its participants were schoolchildren and their parents, students, veterans of the military and civil servants. The lecturers of the Znanie Society told them about the cultural diversity of the peoples of our country, their common history and values. The campaign formats include lectures, quizzes, and teleconferences. There was also a broadcast with the participation of Anna Gabdullina, Deputy chairman of the regional branch of the Assembly of the Peoples of Russia of the Udmurt Republic, the creator of the international educational campaign "Big Ethnographic Dictation", who talked about the ethnic groups inhabiting Russia and their unity. In addition, everyone was able to speak within the framework of the initiative, using ready-made thematic materials from the library of the Znanie Society. For example, the lecture "Indigenous Peoples" is designed to introduce listeners to their key aspects of life, traditions, folklore and crafts. In total, more than 700 events were held for 30 thousand listeners during the campaign.
