REN TV launches a new large-scale musical project "SALT. THE LEGEND"

"SALT. LEGEND" is a show where the glare of spotlights meets the overload of amplifiers. Guitars, undivided drive and honest vocals rule here. And the jury knows firsthand what rock is. "SALT. LEGEND" is a live sound and real meanings.

In the new musical show "SALT. The LEGEND of REN TV and VK Video will meet on the same stage, having already made a name for themselves in pop music, in order to get out of their comfort zone and try themselves in the most sincere musical genre — Russian rock. In the first issue of the project, the viewer will see a duel between Polina Gagarina and Lucy Chebotina.

"I'm a musician and I really like experimentation. For me, rock is honest, strong energy, powerful timbres and drive," says Polina Gagarina, a participant in the show. — I only agree to projects where I feel a professional, musical interest and an inner challenge. Among the participants of the project are also: Klava Coca, Irina Dubtsova, Denis Klyaver, Victoria Daineko, Uma2rman, Lesha Svik, Amirchik, Anton Tokarev, Mary Gu and others.

Pop music in people's minds has always been considered something fake and plastic, and pop artists are just production puppets who don't represent anything by themselves. In the SALT project. LEGEND" pop artists will work live on stage – with live bands, guitars and a full-fledged backline to break the stereotype and prove that they are real musicians.

To become the winner of the musical competition, the artists will have to perform three songs – a legendary rock hit, a rock version of their hit and a cover of a song by one of the jury members. Who really deserves the title of "Legend of Russian Music" will be decided by the jury and the auditorium.

Their performances will be evaluated by three permanent members of the jury, an invited guest and the auditorium. Permanent members of the jury: Vadim Samoilov, a legend of Russian rock, founder and soloist of the Agatha Christie group; Viktor Drobysh, a music producer, former member of the rock bands Soyuz and St. Petersburg-2, as well as Alexander Stepanov aka ST, a rap artist who voices the alternative opinion of a new generation. Among the invited jury members: Sergey Galanin ("Earring"), Yulia Savicheva, Basta, Sergey Bobunets ("Semantic Hallucinations"), Yuri Muzychenko ("The Hatters"), Ant ("25/17"), Yelka, Sergey Burunov and others.

The mission of the SALT project. LEGEND" – to make the country hear real music. That is why, before the start of the project, an all-Russian selection of young alternative groups was held, and the best of them got a chance to perform on the stage of the project. At the end of each issue, there is one new group. Discovering new musicians and giving them a real start in a great career is an important task of the SOL project. THE LEGEND."
