The Volga C50 model was first registered in Russia in April of this year. This follows from the report of the analytical agency Autostat and the United Leasing Association (OLA), published on May 5.

The Volga C50 sedan was shown in early April. The model is based on the Chinese Geely Preface. It will be equipped with a two—liter engine in two boost versions - 150 or 200 hp. The engine is paired with a 7-speed robotic transmission. The start of sales is scheduled for the summer.

The Volga C50 is one of the models that have not been registered in Russia before. They also include the Alfa Romeo Junior electric crossover, Dongfeng Z9 pickup truck, Russian-made Jeland J6 crossover, KGM Musso pickup truck, Lamborghini Temerario hybrid supercar, Lotus For Me electric crossover, Rox Adamas crossover, and Soueast S06 crossover.

Acceptance of orders for the Rox Adamas crossover began in March. The start of pre-orders for Jeland J6 is already open. And Soueast S06 went on sale in April.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that currently there are about 130 different brands on the Russian automotive market, taking into account those cars that are supplied through alternative imports.
