Schools and technical schools of Chuvashia switched to distance learning due to the threat of UAVs

Schools and technical schools in Chuvashia have been switched to distance learning due to the threat of attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced on May 5 by the Minister of Education of the Republic Dmitry Zakharov in the Telegram channel.

"The threat of a UAV attack! We are announcing a distance in schools and technical schools!" he wrote in a message.

In addition, the publication reports that parents are advised to leave their children at home and not take them to kindergarten.

On the same day, the Ministry of Health of the republic announced that three people were injured as a result of an attack by UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Cheboksary. It is specified that one victim with moderate injuries was hospitalized and is under medical supervision. The other two suffered minor injuries.

Prior to that, the head of Chuvashia, Oleg Nikolaev, said that Ukrainian drones had attacked Cheboksary and Cheboksary district. It was clarified that all services dealt with the situation normally and promptly.
