The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation demands that the property and funds of Vadim Moshkovich, the founder of Rusagro agricultural holding, be withdrawn to the state's income, a source told Izvestia on Tuesday, April 14.

The list of assets includes residential properties in Moscow and the Moscow region, securities, as well as savings worth over 14 billion rubles.

According to the source, the agency insists on the confiscation of 469 million Rusagro shares, the market value of which is estimated at about 1.5 billion rubles. The Khamovnichesky District Court of Moscow has scheduled the hearing of the claim for Tuesday, May 5. The founder of the agricultural holding has been under arrest since March 2025. He is suspected of major fraud, bribery of an official and abuse of authority.

The claims include a townhouse with an area of more than 477 square meters, located in the premium residential complex "Three Poplars" in the capital's Khamovniki. The object is officially registered to the businessman's wife Natalia Bykovskaya. According to the project description, the housing in this complex is provided with terraces, individual basements and garages.

In addition, the prosecutor's office demands to seize the Bykovskaya mansion in the elite village of Tagankovo near Moscow. The area of this house exceeds 1.1 thousand square meters, and the adjacent land plot occupies more than 1.8 hectares. The family also owns several other smaller plots of land in the Moscow Region.

In addition to real estate and Rusagro shares, the assets of Profit and Financial Resource enterprises, as well as the entrepreneur's bank savings, may be subject to confiscation.

Moshkovich and Maxim Basov, ex-CEO of Rusagro, were detained in late March and charged with large-scale fraud and abuse of office. They deny their guilt. The court took them into custody. The offices of Rusagro were searched. In addition, in May, a criminal case was also opened against Moshkovich for paying a particularly large bribe. 16 applicants who suffered damage have been identified.

The range of victims in the case is expanding. Initially, the materials indicated the Cyprus company Solpro Investment Ltd and the division of the Chinese chemical corporation Sinochem — Syngenta in Russia. At the moment, more than 10 companies are involved in the case, including Borma, Otava and Rostock.
