It became known about the change in the rules for passing driver's license exams in the Russian Federation

The Russian government has changed the rules for conducting examinations for the right to drive vehicles and issue driver's licenses. This was reported on May 4 by RIA Novosti with reference to government documents.

According to the updated rules, the practical exam will be scheduled no later than 60 days after passing the theoretical part.

Before that, it took up to six months to take the practical exam after passing the theory.

The new rules oblige drivers to undergo a medical examination and renew their license.

Back in February, it became known that a proposal was being considered in Russia to reduce the deadline for passing the practical driving license exam from six months to 60 days. It was noted that this measure could avoid delaying the deadline for retaking the exam.
