Some computers were excluded from parallel imports, as their production or their analogues in sufficient quantities for demand is localized in Russia. This was announced on May 4 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.,

"The main criteria for exclusion from the list of "parallel imports" are: continued production of products localized in Russia and shipments of products to retail chains from existing production facilities in Russia," the ministry explained.
