In Vladivostok, two men were injured as a result of a heating main breakout on Kalinin Street. An inspection has been organized, according to the SU IC of Russia for the Primorsky Territory.

"On this fact, the investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Primorsky Territory organized a pre—investigation check on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence)," the report says.

A major utility accident occurred on Monday morning, May 4, on Kalinina Street near a railroad crossing. Boiling water gushed out of the damaged pipe, hot water flooded the roadway, and thick steam formed over the road, writes IA PrimaMedia. Information about two injured homeless men has spread on social networks. According to some reports, they suffered burns to 80% of their bodies.

The prosecutor's office has also begun its investigation into the incident. The Agency will assess the technical condition of the networks, the actions of their service organizations and compliance with security requirements.

On April 29, it was reported that the planned heating shutdown began in Primorsky Krai. The regional enterprise "Primteploenergo" has started to complete the heating season. At that time, the work of more than 80 boiler houses out of 597 in four municipalities was stopped.
