The WHO recalled the ways to avoid a tick bite
The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends avoiding tall grass and wearing light-colored clothing with long sleeves to protect against ticks. This was recalled on May 4 at the Russian office of the organization.
"WHO recommends taking care when outdoors: avoid tall grass and dense vegetation, and stay on open trails. You should wear long—sleeved clothes and trousers (tucked into socks), choose light-colored clothes and use insect repellents," the WHO told RIA Novosti.
