The average salary in 14 regions of Russia exceeds 100 thousand rubles. This became known on May 4.

According to RIA Novosti, the highest incomes were recorded in Chukotka — 208.5 thousand rubles. Residents of Moscow (198.4 thousand rubles), the Magadan Region (179.8 thousand), and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (176.8 thousand) earn more than 150 thousand rubles.

In St. Petersburg, Yakutia, the Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs, the Kamchatka Territory, the Murmansk and Sakhalin regions, salaries over 125 thousand rubles remained. In the Moscow region, Krasnoyarsk and Khabarovsk territories, employees received more than 100 thousand rubles. The most noticeable increase in salaries was recorded in the Khabarovsk Territory: over the year they increased by 23% and reached 109 thousand rubles.

It is noted that the average monthly accrued salary reflects the income of all employees of organizations before taxes, including bonuses and payments. This indicator takes into account even very high salaries. In general, in Russia in February, the average accrued salary was 103.9 thousand rubles, which is 15% more than a year ago.

On May 3, personal finance expert Olga Trofimenko spoke about the reasons for the lack of money when raising salaries. These include inflation, adaptation to the level of earnings, and loans and subscriptions, which create a constant burden on the budget.
